Just Another Girl
Isn't it normal for girls to be conscious of their appearance? Maybe there is a group of people who don't but most girls do.
Of course I'm one of those who have low self esteem and tries to ignore my flaws and look on the bright side of my life. But I'm still conscious of my appearance. People say that the inner heart is more important than one's appearance. But people choose who they want to befriend by looking at one's appearance first. In the end, the appearance still matters a lot isn't it?
Well, to look good doesn't mean you have to go all out with makeup and all. Flawless faces ( or maybe some where near flawless cause not everyone has flawless face, for example, me. ) can be attractive too !
Sometimes we need to maintain the health of our faces and pamper them with nutrients !
Recently I like to go to Watsons to look at the section where you can buy facial masks at $2 each ! Maybe it isn't worth it but I don't want to buy boxes of certain facial mask cause I change the brands or types of mask sometimes. I went to Sasa a few days ago too and took sometime to choose the mask I want cause I was sort of on budget. But there was this 'Buy 2 Get 1 Free' offer for the Sasatinnie Aloe Facial Mask so of course I bought 3 for the price of 2. Will explain how it help with our facial problems below.
Here are some facial masks that includes what I've been using and some that I just bought to try out.
Firstly,
I kind of love using the one in pink, which is called ' Althaea Rosea Stem Cell Vitamin H Facial Mask ' .
It helps to balance the oil and water moisture levels in your skin to help control excess sebum secretion. The vitamin H helps to prevent acne formation and tighten pores (this is why I love this mask). Plant Extracts from Tea Tree Leaves and Ginger, together with Witch Hazel Water, leaves your pore looking more refined and your skin moisturized and refreshed after use.
Unlike other mask where you have to rinse your face after use, for this, you don't have to ! Just leave it on your face, and massage the remaining essence into skin.
Again,
it's called the ' Althaea Rosea Stem Cell Vitamin H Facial Mask ' ( the pink one on top right hand corner )
you can find them in Watsons stores.
Next,
I tried one of it already, but only once so I don't think there will be much obvious change or difference yet.
I'm talking about the 'Buy 2 Get 1 Free' Sasatinnie Aloe Facial Mask from Sasa. ( the green one on most left of photo )
This mask contains some kind of aloe extract that refines your skin texture and controls the oil secretion. It also helps to reduce inflammation and prevent clogged pores. WHICH IS WHAT I NEED TOO. It helps to provide moist and hydration to your skin, nourish and moisture both your skin surface and under layer. It leaves your skin healthy and radiant looking and contains extract that helps to against skin aging. It is always good to maintain face from aging early (e.g. early 20s ? )
Thirdly,
I haven't tried this yet but I look forward to using it.
This mask contains plenty of extracts which accelerates metabolism, renews aged cuticles and enhances nutrients absorption. It repairs all aspects of skin problems and give your skin with brightness, lightness and fair skin.
I'm talking about the 'Deep Cleansing Pore Minimizing Mask' which you can find them in Sasa ( which is the white one in the center of the photo.
Nowadays, we are so busy with our lives that we have forgotten about the time as we try to complete our tasks. We tend to sleep late and as days go by, dark circles start to form under our eyes. If we don't start to change our lifestyles by sleeping early or do nothing about it, we might probably become human 'pandas'.
Okay joking.
Anyway, I haven't tried this too and buying only one would probably be not enough to help much. I have only used Etude House product for under eye treatment.
Any way this Bio-essence Bird's Nest Nutri-Collagen & Whitening Eye Mask from Watsons contains many helpful stuff that provides intensive nourishment, restoring skin elasticity for firmer and smoother eye contours. It also helps in skin renewal and repair, rejuvenating dull eye contours for a more radiant eye contours. It also has nutrients also lighten dark circles and brighten eye contours, help in skin renewal and reduces sagging eye bags, enhancing firmness at the eye area.
One unique thing : the Eye Mask Shape
It's extra long fit helps reduce fine lines and wrinkles.
Also with flaps, nourishing up to the eyelids.
Other than pampering myself with facial mask, there are also certain products that I started relying on.
I came across these brand on Teenage Magazine and got attracted to the greatness of these products.
1. T3 Pimple Gel Plus
( Can be found in Watsons but I'm not sure about Guardian )
The nifty fix-it has acne fighting properties to quickly clear zits and lighten unsightly scars. It is friendly to skin with a pH of 5.5.
2. Hiruscar Post Acne Gel
( Can be found in personal care and beauty stores )
The light, non sticky formula gel speeds up the healing process and prevents new blemishes.
I don't know if it's just me, but no matter how okay I look in other people's eyes, I still do not have confidence to face the public with my flawed face. I also want to look at my best state too.
So, here are some products I use every time before I go out.
1. Maybelline New York Baby Skin Pore Eraser
It blurs the look of pores, without clogging them. It also smoothes and refines skin appearance.
I use this before makeup and it helps for a smooth-looking finish. I hate all those times where my pores could be seen through my foundations or concealer. So this really helped me a lot. I Love It.
2. Toly Moly Luminous Goddess Aura BB Cream
Other than the fact that it conceals face partially and contains SPF37 that protects my face from the sun, I don't have much to tell about it.. It has a nice scent too.
3. Za Perfect Fit Concealer Shade 02
That's for the basics (above).
But
If I'm attending some events or going to town with friends, I occasionally put on eyeliner, mascara or draw my brows.
Here are some products I use shown below.
(First item from the left) e.l.f Brightening Eyeliner Black
I got it from a shop at Scape but I forgot the name. I got it at quite a cheap price for an eyeliner, $4.
(Second item from the left) Maybelline New York Hyper Sharp Liner
Can be found in all beauty product stores. I really love this cause it is very easy to apply and doesn't smudges as much as the pencil eyeliner I use.
(Third item from the left) Eyelash curler
You don't have to invest too much for things like this.. Unless you just want to get a branded one or something. I got mine from Daiso, which is only $2. Way cheaper than those in beauty/ cosmetic shops.
(First item from the right) Maybelline New York Lashionista Endless Length Obsession mascara
Can be found in all beauty product stores. I only use this when I want more obvious or dramatic eyelash. Keep apply one coat after another it should look pretty dramatic and dark.
By the end of the day, one will probably be very tired and wants to remove makeup, take a warm shower and get a good night sleep. But some makeup removers are so not helpful. I'm serious. Some very troublesome too. One day I came across this product and was wondering if I should try it out. After viewing some of the blogger's review on it, I decided to buy it.
It is so efficient and easy to remove makeup.
As you can see, this is the Biore Cleansing Oil Cotton Facial Sheets
It is ultra-gentle and allergy tested. Now they have improved the product and has 20% more cleansing liquid to remove stubborn, waterproof makeup gently & effectively. Speedy yet gentle. They also sell in small packets ( like the one on top of the box ) for users to be able to use them anytime anywhere they want and saves plenty of space in the bag.
I shall stop here for now. It's midnight 1 a.m. at the moment and I still have another few blog post to work on. Do stay tune ! Do leave a comment on your opinion of these products or if you have any products to share about. Good night lovelies !
