Time flies really fast, it's 2015 already and I've turned 17 ! ( on 21st Jan hehe )
It feels like I've just celebrated sweet 16 not long ago and now I'm 17. It's scary how fast time can fly. More than half of January has already passed. Since December 2014 I've been working part time at a MANGO outlet. Yes we all want to find a job to earn ourselves some money. However, apart from the money I'll get, I feel that the experience I have had is really valuable too. Now I know how it feels like serving customers in clothing stores, how it feels like to hang or fold huge piles of clothes that people leave after trying them on. Also how it feels to see customers mess up the folded clothing on the table and you have to fold them back into one stack patiently, and how it feels to face ridiculous customers.
I swear a lot of shoppers out there need shopping etiquette lessons GOSH.
Anyway apart from customers service experience, many admin, stocks replenish stuff actually seems interesting for me. People will think I'm crazy HAHA but whatever, this is the industry I've always wanted to enter.
It's a new year, new start for many students. From my experience, I shall give some advice maybe?
HAHA not that I'm very experienced but I just don't wish anyone lived the same stressful live I had.
Yes a lot of people always judge and laugh about others in school. I won't deny that I did that before. However now I think that all those things were really stupid. Like not that any on of us is perfect. Everyone has freedom to judge but to what extend you judge is what that matters more. Don't overdo it and cause harm and dramas.
& talking about dramas. Serious, you really don't want any of those, especially if you're in your O level or streaming year. It's just going to waste your time and attention. Don't start or get involved in dramas. If someone wants to start with you, ignore or tell a trustable adult. I'm serious. O levels may not be the most important hurdle to jump over however it determines which road you'll be walking on. So make wise choices and don't spend more time on unnecessary things over studies.
Also, we are all insecure of our appearance. Don't let such insecurities grow into you. Don't think about what others will think of you if you have a pimples, a scar or whatever on your face. I used to live that way but now I don't even want to worry about it. People have already seen the worst, e.g. after a swim at Sentosa outing with people I met at TPrawks ( we aren't exactly close ) where most makeup is washed off, but they didn't judge me, they are still nice, talk to me and take care of me, etc. So it doesn't really matters a lot & so, FK care of what they think. They aren't perfect, no one is. Whoever that looks like they are living a perfect life are actually hiding imperfections of their lives, and they're doing it too well for you to notice. That's all.
It's also a new start for many of us that graduated. Hope everyone gets into their desired school/course!
What I said above was totally unplanned so pardon my grammatical errors/ horrible English.
I think my English has always been horrible actually.. HAHA
