Hey all, I know I haven’t updated for quite some time. I’m still working on various posts that I want to share with everyone. Thus, do stay tune. Anyways, I’ve headed to J&J Hair Identity earlier this week and finally pampered my hair a little. Yet, another typical hair sponsor post? But first, let me introduce J&J Hair Identity Salon, a hair salon in Singapore that has been opened since 24th Sept 2016 and located at Katong Square.

The salon had decorations that were conceptualized with metal frames and green leaves, which I didn’t initially understand, till I read up on them on their website. It’s all about being natural and eco-friendly, after all. I liked how it was located at such a peaceful and quiet area, complemented with soft, melodic soundtracks that were played in the store. It has a very pleasant, soothing ambience, which is great for chilling while getting my hair done. The salon is also perfectly lit up, not too bright and not too dark. It is just right for work. In my opinion, being comfortable is a very important aspect when visiting a salon, thus, I must say this salon did a great job on that. During my visit, the stylists were polite as they took concern on my well-being, and engaged conversations during the styling process.

My preference leans towards red/burgundy (purplish-red). I was advised to have highlights to bring out the beauty of my natural curls to prevent my hair from looking flat.

I trust professional judgements, thus, I simply agreed to go with the idea. They went straight on to do the highlighting first, with a brighter red, before dyeing the rest of my head with the colour of my choice.

Let me tell you something important.

There were zero chemical-burning sensations, unlike those that I’ve experienced at other places. This must be due to their organic product.

In the last stage of the styling process, they were very kind and generous to give me a hair treatment (Argan Oil Treatment). This treatment helps to moisturize, condition and soften the hair. The stylist also advised me to moisturize whenever possible, as I have natural frizzy hair.

In conclusion, even though this is a sponsored post, I am speaking from my most honest opinion. I really like how the natural dye didn’t give me chemical burning sensations (duh, made of natural ingredients). Being able to touch up and keep my hair red, I’m really loving it. As you can see, my hair is so much neater and less fizzy. It feels like they have revived my hair and I am still amazed by it.
