A Day Out on SG50

The main reason I went to watch SG50 National Day Parade fireworks live this year instead is because I wanted to film down the fireworks for one of my modules' project. The topic was 'My Travelogue' and I decided to do a vlog on my day out.
Initially I only thought of filming plainly just for project. However after planning and editing the video at the end of the day, I thought of uploading it on my Youtube channel, Cause.... Why not?

My first destination was:
The Rail Mall
380 Upper Bukit Timah Road, S678040
~

I researched a little to find out suggested restaurants/cafe to visit.
I came across Cedele on the hungrygowhere.com.and it was ranked 2nd.
I was anticipating my visit after viewing their webpage.
From their pictures, their food sure look tasty. Or is it just me cause I do enjoy pampering myself with food hehe

When I got there, I was attracted by their desserts, cakes and other pastries on display. I didn't take picture of the interior but it can be seen in my video.
Here are what we took after much thinking.

My pick : Plain Croissant, Chocolate Peanut Butter Cupcake, Cheese Scallion Scone.

I don't think I need to elaborate on the Croissant that is available almost everywhere. Not just in cafe but bakery stores too.

The Chocolate Peanut Butter Cupcake
It's said that their creamy peanut butter frosting is 100% natural and unsalted.
Anyway, this cupcake is my favourite. The cake was soft. The combination of the peanut butter frosting and chocolate cake taste soooooooooo good. It was really good. Maybe not the best but definitely worth it.

The Cheese Scallion Scone is filled with spring onions & cheddar cheese.
It wasn't very impressive for the first few bites however I couldn't stop eating it afterwards.
(In my opinion) The cheesy aroma that please my taste buds. I will definitely pick that again when I revisit.

I chose Chai Latte, also known as Masala Latte. Why?
Cause I've never tasted one before and chose it out of curiosity.
So, it is basically a tea beverage where black tea is brewed with a mixture of aromatic Indian spices and herbs. The taste of cinnamon and ginger was super strong. So strong that I didn't like it.
If you're a fan of cinnamon, you might want to try it.

After brunch, my friends and I set off to the railway track nearby to chill and take some photos before we departed and went separate ways.

So next I went to
Somerset
to meet the Nicole(s)

the Nicole(s) ??
One of them is Nicole Kimberly(@nicolexkimberly), the other is Nicole Zanetta(@nicolezanetta). & they are not twins.

It's just a coincident.

We met up to shop & chill before heading to Marina Bay to end our day watching ndp fireworks.

Here is my first vlog ever
Hope you enjoy,
